 International Bhangra Competition Chicago USA: 22/11/2003 Nachda Sansaar would like to thank the Punjabi Cultural Society of Chicago for inviting us to the 2nd annual International Bhangra Competition on the 22nd of November in Chicago, USA. The sell out event hosted more than a thousand people from all over the region and some from further a field. It was an absolute pleasure to be present at this extremely well organised and prestigious event, more over we had the chance to see Punjabi culture and people flourishing in different parts of the globe and Bhangra Dancing gaining acceptance as an art form, not only with in the Punjabi community but the community at large. The group members were thrilled to see, and have the pleasure of meeting some the other groups competing at the event, it is very promising to see young Punjabis and youths of different creeds coming together through the power of dance and Bhangra Dancing as an art form reaching out to so many around the world. To all those individuals dedicating their time and effort for the art, we would like to say keep up the good work and keep in touch. Nachda Sansaar would like to thank: Our families, for being patients with our absence from home more or less every weekend and some weeks. Thank you for your support. The participants, who came from a far in order to perform. The organizers for their hospitality and effort in making this event happen.
